What type of number will I use ?

We have tried to give a brief overview of the different types of numbers. If you would like to discuss this in more details, please call 0800 056 04 04.

ü      0800 – Freephoneseen as a good way to attract new enquiries as this number is FREE for calls made from UK landlines. You pay a small charge to receive the incoming call

ü      0845 – Local rateknown as a lo-cost call (and from 2009 is free from on some BT packages) you do NOT pay towards the cost of the incoming call

ü      0844 – Fixed local ratecalls using these numbers can earn an income for you.  These numbers are frequently being used to replace 0870 numbers

ü      0871 – National Ratea higher charge for callers, but a better income for you

ü      01 or 02 numbers – Area Code Numbers – we can supply local numbers for over 400 towns and cities throughout the UK. Give your business a ‘local’ presence to attract enquiries from out with your immediate area.

Additional Benefits

In addition to providing feedback on the advertising response, using ‘Virtual Numbers’ has many more advantages.

 

Transferable – If you move premises, it is very simple to take your Virtual Numbers’ with you.  We can simply direct the numbers to your new land line – FREE. This also saves you money as you will avoid re-printing business cards, letterheads etc because your number won’t change.

 

You will not have to set up a divert on your land line to forward calls - this can all be done on-line.

 

Extra Features – For a small monthly fee create a professional image for your business with add on features for the numbers including -

Call whisper - this feature whispers a message to you every time you answer an incoming call using the virtual numbers.  This can be used to identify straight away which advert has been used to source your number. You can also use this if you have 2 different businesses sharing the same land line allowing you to answer the incoming call in the correct business name.

This can also be used if you use Area Code numbers. As you answer the phone, we can identify the area that the call has come from. 

Push button options – press 1 for sales, button 2 for accounts etc.

Call queue – Customer will automatically be placed in a queue system on our network.  This means that even if you only have one incoming land line, we can still queue your calls.  Callers will hear your personal message – we can even tell them how many people are in front of them in the queue.

Diverts – your numbers can be set to automatically divert if the line is busy or the call goes unanswered.  For a small additional fee, we can even forward the call to a mobile phone.

Time & Day Routing – Would it help your business to forward your call to different numbers at different times. Some businesses may want calls to one number weekdays and another number at weekends.  Virtual numbers can provide that for you.
